Takaki

There actually is a name "Takaki" in Japan!! (not sure if it's a first or last name though)....anywho, what's going on in this photo?? Well, here's a sneak bit of info for those of you who check out our blog... We are expecting!! In this photo, my nephew & bro are watching a video of our sonogram. I am now in my17th week; due date is October 17th (a day after my b-day)! We'll keep you posted with updates on our babies growth. We'd appreciate your prayers!

Visiting with Family

There's a week at the beginning of May with 3 national holidays in it in Japan that is called Golden Week. I got to go to Kobe ( a 2 and a half hour bullet train ride from here) where my brother and his family live. My parents were also visiting from the States! It was so nice to go there and spend time with them. Unfortunately, Taka had to stay home since he was preaching and had other things to do, but I managed to still have fun:) Photo: My brother, Joe, and my nephew, Ayden..

Wedding

At the end of March, we had a wedding at church. Mr. Kitani, who just got baptized this year, married Ms. Ishii. It's not often that we have weddings at the church, but this year we'll have had two (this one and one to come in July)! Taka did not perform the ceremony, but he acted as MC for the reception.
